6th Form / British Baccalaureate

This stage will begin at The British School of Costa Daurada in the 2026/2027 school year.

University Access

University access, be it a Spanish or a British school, will be granted based on the results obtained from the AS/A Level exams that the students will complete at the end of each year of the baccalaureate (Year 12 and Year 13).

University access in the United Kingdom is obtained through, United Kingdom University and College Admissions Service(UCAS). This system centralises the students submissions, and allows students to choose up to five different courses at one school or five different schools to attend. The orientation process for students that are interested in attending a British college begins in Key Stage 4, with applications being presented within the first months of Year 13 (6th Form). At this point students must decide on a major and may be interviewed before being offered acceptance into the school of their choosing, pendent of course on the results of their A Level exams. The school will help to prepare and monitor the application process at each level, as well as help to prepare the students for the interview.

Access to university in the United States will also be possible through the process of “The Common Application”, which is quite similar to the procedures of the United Kingdom.

Currently, to attend Spanish universities, students may solicit access no matter which educational system they have attended. Students acceptance into the school of their choosing will depend on a final test with a score range of 0 to 14.
